Obesity Strategy Evidence Session
The Health and Sport Committee of the Scottish Government held a focused inquiry into obesity on Tues 6th December. The session looked at the obesity strategy in terms of what was and was not achieved, what should be in the new obesity strategy and links from obesity to diet and physical exercise.
We received an invitation to attend this session. Others invited included: ScottishPHN, British Dietician Association, University of Edinburgh Physical Activity for Health Research Centre, Paths for All, Community Food and Health Scotland, Linda Bauld, Professor of Health Policy, Stirling University.
